Plumstone Mountain

Lovely sunshine this morning, just perfect for a site meeting at Plumstone Mountain with Jon Hudson of Natural Resources Wales and Roger and Tony of Camrose Community Council. The Council has great plans for improved access and information for visitors, all self-funded. At least four male Yellowhammers, seen as we walked the paths, were reminders of how important this site is for birds which are struggling elsewhere. The management plans discussed will hopefully maintain and improve the habitat and Camrose Community Council and NRW are to be congratulated for their commitment to making Plumstone Mountain better for people and wildlife.
