Angle Bay - a tale of two tides

A good selection of waders was present on the Rhoscrowther shore of Angle Bay on the morning tide today including four Curlew Sandpipers, 11 Knots, one Bar-tailed Godwit, 50+ Ringed Plovers, 250+ Dunlins and 20+ Turnstones. A Peregrine also put in an appearance.  In Angle Harbour there were 25 Mediterranean Gulls (including three colour-ringed birds - details sent), six Little Egrets and two Bar-tailed Godwits.

On the evening tide, there had been a mass exodus of waders from the Rhoscrowther shore with only three Curlew Sandpipers and c.80 Dunlins present, while in Angle Harbour there 10 Mediterranean Gulls and c.20 Dunlins.
