Osprey and Curlew sandpiper at the Gann

An Osprey up in the dead trees tucking into a mullet this evening, sporting a blue ring left leg (Scottish bird?). Derek joined me but it may have been spooked by a family passing along the track beneath its perch. The Curlew sandpiper was still here, c25 Dunlin, dozen Ringed plover, 3 Turnstone. 140 Curlew. 2 each of Greenshank, Redshank and Common sandpiper. The juvenile Peregrine and a Kingfisher.
