Managed to find the Summer plumage Knot & it`s sibling that I saw a few days ago, almost tripping over them, got to within 5 metres before they moved & gave themselves  away, obviously quite tame though really hard to see in the tide wrack

A regular vising birder, Dave Jackson also with me had been to Little Milford earlier, seeing 1 Ruff & 12 Greenshanks
