Martin’s Haven & Deer Park

What was probably Brian’s ringtail Hen Harrier drifted over the Deer Park at 1600, seemingly on its way towards Skomer.
Earlier, the highlight of a walk over the Trehill Farm fields was THREE Kestrels feeding together along a bank. One pair then flew off, displaying, leaving another male behind.
This is the most Kestrels I have seen at one time out here for 5+ years: they stopped nesting in the sea caves near Martin’s Haven about 6 years again, but we noticed adults carrying food again last year. Fingers crossed.
Other birds seen today included a good number of Stonechats: I wonder if these are migrants coming back to bulk up to smaller wintering population?
Yet another Water Rail near the stream, and 10+ Snipe in the boggy corner of the largest rough grazing Trehill Farm field.
