Similar to Mike a nice sunny spring day but not many migrants. There was a lone male Wheatear at St. Govan's - probably the same bird I saw there a couple of days ago when a bitter east wind made it unpleasant to be out. This time the bird posed nicely.

At Kilpaison 90 mins or so after high tide just a few loafing gulls and a couple of Redshank. Most waders were probably still in the roost on the far side of the bay.

On the spit at Angle Harbour 18 Black-tailed Godwits (which seem recently to have taken to the harbour side of the bay), 2 Knot, 3 Dunlin and 2 Curlew. 7 Redshank were also dotted around the harbour. No Wheatears at West Angle Bay which is often a good spot for them.

Yesterday at Minwear Woods plenty of activity particularly from the Great Spotted Woodpeckers which were drumming and chasind each other around.
