Brief couple of hours around the mere. Pretty quiet, handful of Chiffchaff and couple of Willow warbler, 4 White wagtail in Trehills fields. 4 House martin the only hirundines. The drake Pintail still on the mere just out from the Oriole Hide, 2 pairs of Gadwall, 6 pairs and 4 male Shoveler, with some serious courtship going on. 10 pairs Teal plus 5 males, again with 3 drakes trying to charm a female.
