Hawking

A great crowd of mixed Jackdaws, Rooks and Black - headed Gulls spent about a quarter of an hour hawking rising unidentified invertebrates over Rudbaxton this afternoon. The Jackdaws were very adroit, the gulls a little less so and the Rooks appeared ponderous but persevered, so presumably effective. Altogether a fascinating spectacle.
