With Ian Smith ( who seems to be enjoying himself here! ) a pleasant evening, not too bad birdwise I can`t recall exact amounts though we did count some 14 RP`s, 7 Dunlin, four or five Meds, other common stuff, Redshank Greenshank, 6 (?) Teal. Two more Ruff were the best birds.
Ian told me that someone in the parked motorhomes said they`d seen a Grey Phalarope in the bay which then flew off upstream not long before we turned up...….
