Firecrest and Bramblings, St Brides

Lovely morning around St Brides, lots of birds on the move inc Chaffinch, Goldfinch and Skylark. Flock of 50 Woodpigeon. 6 Grey wagtails passing over. A Firecrest in the ivy on the narrow gully down to the beach. Small groups of Brambling 2, 6 and 7. Water rail calling. Dozen Wigeon flew over before doubling back and dropping in the bay. A lone Golden plover calling over. Little egret came in off the sea and headed inland being mobbed by pipits.
