A fantastic variety at the Gann over high tide this evening. Our first Brent Geese of the autumn, with 25 mostly consisting of 5 family parties, ranging from 1 to 4 juveniles. An impressive number of alba wagtail, perhaps 100 birds, with a ratio White outnumbering Pied roughly 2:1.
3 Mediterranean Gulls consisted of an adult, a 2CY and a 1CY. Waders included a Ringed Plover, 2 Dunlin and 6 Turnstone. A juvenile Great-crested Grebe was associating with the Brents.
