Ringed Gulls at Newport +

Several yesterday & today, though none wildly exciting.
On Friday:  Herring Gull Blue BHS, a Gloucester landfill ringed bird, which has been regular since Oct 2008 & which I have logged 100+ times.   A "rogue" ringed Herring Gull with a purple & a red ring on it's R leg & no metal ring, which since first seen in July last year has become another regular.
Skokholm Great BB W:055 is their most resighted bird & another Newport regular.  Polish Med Gull Red PYT8 seems to have settled for the Autumn - the 5th sighting since the end of August, having been seen here several times last Autumn also.
Today Red PTY8 again, with a total of 10 Med Gulls, & Herring Gulls Blue EUX & ELW, the other 2 most frequently noted Gloucester landfill birds, at Newport since 2011 & 2010.
Also today, 8 Gannets in the bay, a redhead Goosander at the bridge, 1 ea Greenshank & Redshank & 2 Barwits. Only c 5 Curlews, but 60+ on the roost across the bay. I couldn't find any small waders.
