All a bit quiet after the last few days, the first high tide roost without a number of Sandwich Terns. Only 1 Redshank 20 Dunlin and 20 Ringed Plover. The Black Swan still present.
Confirmation of the original colour ringing of Wednesday's Sandwich Tern (Blue UFP) at The Webley from Chris Redfern - Farne Island.
This would be the first sighting of this bird and the first colour-ringed one from your neck of the woods I think, ringed whilst a nestling on Inner Farne on 17th June 2014.
