Greetings from Segovia

We know that it’s not in Pembrokeshire but we (along with Jane Hodges and a few others from the UK) are over in central Spain, attending the 5th international chough workshop. The folk in the photograph below are watching choughs as they come into roost on the magnificent cathedral in the old part of Segovia.

As we look up at the choughs coming into roost (wondering if this could ever be possible at St David’s?) we also are watching black vultures and booted eagles flying high above the city. Crag martins and black redstarts are also flying around the spires before they, too, go to roost there  – it’s an amazing place!
