Very quiet on the passerine front for the 2nd day running, a small passage of Swallows this morning (at least 23), 3 Wheatear, a single Chiffchaff & 2 Goldcrest.
A shift in the westerly wind to slightly further north late afternoon saw us head to the cosy seawatch shelter, and between 17:00 & 18:20 the highlights were 2 Great Skuas, 9 Arctic Skuas, 4 Common Scoter (3 males & 1 female), 3 Manx Shearwaters, 30+ Gannets, 70+ Kittiwakes (only 3 juvs) & at least 50 auks (most of those identified were Razorbills). Lisa got briefly onto a Storm Petrel which was almost certainly a European. (Dave Astins & Lisa Morgan)
