Pink-footed Goose - Gann

Highlight of an early evening walk at the Gann was an adult Pink-footed Goose.  It flew in high from the east, across Dale Roads, and circled the saltmarsh before alighting on the river upstream of the footbridge.  After about 2 minutes it took off again, and headed south across the bay and lost to view.  Managed a few flight shots as it disappeared (see if you can spot it in the 2nd photo!).  Given we've had a few days of northerly winds, and the time of year, it would seem to be a good candidate to be a wild bird.

Also on the beach 7 Mediterranean Gulls (4 ads, 3 2CY) & a single Black-tailed Godwit.

Earlier at St Bride's a good passage of Chaffinch & Skylark, and a single Chiffchaff at Crabhall. (Dave & Lisa)
