Two of the "Carew Cheriton Three" still faithful to original area - daily in last few days and first light this morning. Their HQ is the ivy-covered clump just over the wall opposite the S side of the pink house: every so often they feed along the stream, or fly round the back of the pink house to the row of evergreen trees on the N side of it - but soon return.
Also - lots of goldcrests along the path to Milton (several singing), at least 3 flocks of long-tailed tits, a group of 5 bullfinch feeding, a party of jays, GSW, sparrowhawk, etc. etc.
