Excellent views of the adult Ring-billed gull with Paul G from around 4pm this evening. Usually it's already roosting with its main feature tucked out of sight, however, perhaps due to the choppy conditions it remained awake for the duration we were there. 6 Yellow-legged gulls (adults and sub adults). A very modest roost with only 4 Common gull and 6 adult Meds the other gulls of note. 3 Goldeneye (1m). Earlier a Ring-tailed Hen harrier near Winterton Farm, following a failed attempt to find the RN duck at a very windy Marloes Mere, there were 10-11 Tufties. Where does it keep disappearing to, the Islands or Bicton maybe?
Had a thorough look around Pantmaenog yesterday, covered virtually every path. Willow tit in a couple of locations and 3 small groups of Crossbills perhaps a dozen in total.
