Garden felt incredibly quiet this morning: just the resident Stonechats and Linnets.
But the Ring Ouzel was sunning itself in the gorse just up the bank from the Deer Park wall.
Update at 1100: the Ring Ouzel came and sat on the Deer Park wall near the gates. And promptly got seen off by a very territorial male Blackbird: no chat/thrush family spirit here!
