A steady trickle of mid-/late-afternoon migrants today: mainly Willow Warblers, but a couple of Blackcaps below Lockley Lodge.
Several Swallows all moving North/West, and a couple of Sand Martins mixed in.
We now seem to have our resident Wheatears, with two males displaying along the line of the Deer Park Wall.
Two Peregrines seemed to be competing rather noisily as they circled higher and higher over the Trehill Farm fields.
And another Ring Ouzel by Renny’s Slip. Male, but a different bird from that of a week ago: far less well marked and smart.
