Boat Club (0630 - 0730) - As the tide was rushing in a large group of small waders also came in from the sea and landed on the beach, joining the 2 Whimbrel. I guess the group size was c120 waders, the majority were Dunlin, a few Ringed Plover, 5 Sanderling, 1 Turnstone and a full summer plumage
American Golden Plover, Wow, what a beauty. I assumed it was the AGP that Dave had found at The Gann, but after checking his photos of that bird I had obviously seen a different bird !
