There was a notable movement of Red kites over St Davids yesterday afternoon, having over 20 passing the house between 14-10 and 15-20, the largest kettle being 7, all flying north east. Reading Birdguides yesterday evening there were reports of 100s of kites over Dorset and Cornwall flying west, I wonder if these birds were part of that movement, if so where did they come from and are they all non breeders?.
