Teifi Updates

A female Tufted Duck was present on Wednesday on Kingfisher Pond. This is often a good week for ducks and Coot to appear on the Teifi - often just an annual record.
Of interest, Bardsey just posted that on Sunday they had their 35th island record of Tufted Duck.

The 1st Spotted Flycatchers appeared on the Teifi yesterday - and at other local sites too.
Small waders (difficult to identify whilst exercising) are being recorded most days in excess of 100. Howard on Thursday evening saw 400+ small waders on Poppit whilst viewing from Patch, a typical Spring passage total.
