A second Light-bellied Brent Goose of the week flying west past the Teifi this evening.
Over the weekend nice to have late August counts of Barnacle Geese - 110 on the Teifi and Marc Hughes counted 215 on the Dyfi. Julian Hughes had small parties on passage across the Conwy coast in North Wales, presumably birds that are known to winter on the Dyfi and breed in the Lake District. Plenty of wandering Barnacles to include in any Goose summary....
