Ramsey once again proved to me that seawatching here in a SW is pretty much pointless even in a storm! It did however allow me to register the first Balearic shearwater of the year, a lovely view of a close in bird, so all was not lost. The small curlew flocks that has been around for over a week numbered 12 today - no sign of the whimbrel that was with them yesterday.
