Teifi estuary - Great Skua

After days of sea fog, the horizon is again visible!
An hour watching to see what was passing the mouth of the estuary was worthwhile with a Great Skua past at 9am. A continuous stream of Manx Shearwaters were heading up the coast to their feeding grounds.
Also 2 small flocks of Wigeon, the first of the year and at least 10 Wood Pigeons came in off the sea.
Bottlenose Dolphins were active close in.
In the estuary, the small wader flock is increasing. 54 Ringed Plover and 20 Dunlin. A Whimbrel was heard and there were 72 Curlew.
