I saw David Ord close to 3 juvenile Knot on the foreshore & managed to creep up next to him for some really close up views of these birds, at one point one of them came within 4 feet of us, while all the time David was shuffling backwards to get them in his camera frame as he was too close! When we see Knot, we just assume they`re just grey birds, but this close.....wow! I make no apologies for all the photos.
