From Julian Cremona - On the road,about a mile out of Newport over to Cwm Gwaun, there was a small flock of about 10 fieldfares with a possible redwing, feeding on berries amongst the small Hawthorn bushes. I didn't see the redwing for long but the fieldfares were very clear about 20 feet away.
I thought that was quite early in the autumn as normally it is October before I see them. Thought I would report it.
