I had to abandon my first visit as I couldn't find a space to park, however I managed an hour later, I think the problem was a an Osprey twitch, though I never saw it, it did put in an appearance by all accounts. What was nice to see were some 50 Brent on & in the river mouth relaxing, I started to look through the dozens of legs that were visible for rings but passing dog walkers made them paddle out to sea on several occasions & at the same time moving the 30 or so Dunlin around which I believed contained the Curlew Sandpiper that Brian (& Dave?) saw last night
A record shot of the two outward bound Glossies early Thursday morning. will they ever return?
