Cycling pass the Gann en-route to Dale Airfield, thought I would have a quick look to see if the Osprey was there, passing all the leaving birders who`d just wasted several valuable hours of their day hoping to see this elusive creature. I too, having spent some today gave up as a message came in from Dave re the BB Sandpiper at Marloes, taking one last glance behind me as I left, the Osprey appeared from upstream & started fishing in Dave`s back Garden! I did ring him but his phone was off as he was mowing the lawn, but the bird flew off up to the Pine trees where it sat for 10mins or so, Andy T joined me as did ex Pembrokeshire Wildlife blogger Andy & another couple. We were just about to leave, taking another last look, when it flew back towards us & again started fishing around the same place as before grabbing itself a fish & then back to the Pine trees for dinner.
