Pintail at Marloes Mere

From Debbie and Pete:

We’re staying at Marloes for 6 months and have visited the Mere most days.
We’re not sure what you would normally see but over the last week we have seen plenty of shoveler, pochard, wigeon, scaup and teal.
We have seen the marsh harrier twice, we have also seen a pair of Pintail this morning.
Thanks to Peter for repairing the Oriel hide, it certainly is not as drafty now !!!
We managed to see the great northern diver in one of the coves by stack rocks in the week.
We have met Derek and think Andy passed us the other day as we were coming away from the Gann when we had managed to see the Caspian Gull.
We are definitely learning a lot so if you meet a couple who don’t appear to know what they are looking at it will probably be us!
