A nice gathering of mainly small gulls (as usual) at Dale yesterday prior to dusk, in amongst the buoys between the sea front and Dale Fort. Around 50 Lesser Black-backed Gull were accompanied by a single Yellow-legged Gull (1CY): that was it for the large gulls. Over 1,000 Black-headed Gull, with at least 38 Mediterranean Gull (33 adults, 3 2CY, 2 1CY), 100+ Common Gulls and a single adult Kittiwake. In the bay 2 Great Northern Diver.
