Prompted by a post from Dave Astins a few days ago I have just extracted some data from the WEBS system and produced the following graph, which is the maximum WEBS count of Goldeneye at the Gann for each year since 1967. Apparently they started to decrease just as we started to do the Gann WEBS count in 2003! Would be very interested to know what the figures looked like before 1967. Was the late 90s peak a recent phenomena? Of course the pools have only been there since 1938-ish.
