Great views of a Firecrest this afternoon on Jetty road, Hakin, The bird was quite near the bottom of the hill, after the road bends to the left on the way up. It was flitting around so much that photographs were difficult, but I did manage a couple of reasonable ones.
Earlier in the week, I had two good walks around the side of Milford Haven Golf Course, leading round to the back of South Hook LNG, It was good to come across a number of Fieldfare on the Golf Course, and also plenty of birds at the back of South Hook, among them several Bullfinch, a Buzzard, a Red Kite and also several Wigeon, Teal, Little Grebe and a Grey Heron at the large pond there. I plan to keep more of an eye on this area this year.
