I have just got back from walking
round Llysyfran lake. There are still lots of goldeneye about, all over
the lake and flying up and down, so it was not possible to do a total
count, but I estimate that there are more than the 16 I have previously
reported. We also saw a group of about 40 greylag geese alongside 70
plus Canada geese. I have only ever seen 1 or 2 Greylags here over the
15 years I have been regularly visiting this site.
