In response to Richard Crossen's search for the cattle egrets the other day I last saw them at the end of December and was beginning to think they had gone, only for 4 of them to reappear Thursday 14th and Friday 15th at their usual spot on Quoits Water Pill .
Just returned from a walk by Pembroke mill pond to see a water rail on the castle side .
