Iceland gull, The Gann

A juv Iceland gull, was bathing above the footbridge briefly around midday before flying over to the fields being ploughed nearby. It was still in the fields when I left. It's in the photo somewhere near the arrow, (honest) hopefully Dave and Lisa managed some better photos. Otherwise c150 Common gull, 5 Meds (4 2cy and a 3cy). 3 Chiffchaff around the Gann, one in song. There was another large gathering of gulls following tractors at the Tavernput crossroads, mostly Herring gulls. Earlier a Whimbrel was calling over Dale airfield, and a walk around turned up 20 Snipe and 6 Golden plover.
