Sand Martins Marloes Mere

From Debbie & Peter Head:

We have had a busy week already and it’s only Wednesday!!!
We saw our first Sand Martins on Monday at the Mere. Walking from Musslewick Bay to East Hook, we saw 34 Razorbills, the biggest group were 10.
Up at the Deer Park the porpoise were feeding with the gannets.
Off Skomer there were 1000’s of birds sitting out at sea. We later read on the Skokholm blog that 1000’s of Puffins had arrived.
Today at the Deer Park we saw two Wheatear, Chough, Pipits, Stonechat.
We have seen Peacock butterfly and Foxmoth Caterpillars.
We have seen a Marsh Harrier a couple of days, but not able to see if it was Wing Tags.
The pair of Peregrine continue to hunt around Musslewick Bay.
