Some friends of mine whatsapped me earlier today with some photos, wanting to know about a birds nest they`d accidently dislodged whilst cutting back Gorse on their land, it was a Long tailed tits nest with 2 eggs & five newly hatched chicks. Not a lot, was my initial thought. However I was just sent this photo!
The nest is back, very close to it`s original position secured with a cable tie & being monitered with a trailcam, the adults have adjusted to it`s re-positioning & are carrying on as normal.
