A longer look at Minwear this morning - at least 5 wood warblers, including 3 along the path that loops through the wood on the south side of the road opposite the picnic site. A dog walker told me I was the only person he'd seen with no dog. I went down to the shore by the lime kiln, further along: a stock dove flew up the river. To Canaston - a garden warbler in Brian S's clearing but no tree pipit, I probably didn't stay long enough as I'd spent too long in Minwear. What has happened to Canaston? A hard road through it?
