Yesterday`s Pelagic

Really enjoyable day! though conditions weren`t ideal & I couldn`t lock on to the Wilson`s there plenty of other birds, notably the amount of Storm Petrels flying around the boat in the chum slick which also attracted Great & Artic Skua + dozens of  the usual Gulls & Fulmars. On the way out somewhere South of the islands a Willow Warbler was flying over & around as well as a Swallow & 2 Sandmartins (?) We stopped a drifted a few hundred meters off a trawler as it was hauling it`s nets in to see what birds might be looking for a snack but mostly Gulls & Gannets with the odd Storm Petrel. Lively conditions on the way home heading into a  stiff Northerly crosswind proved entertaining!  Pictures below were the best I could manage on the choppy seas & nothing too exciting.
