Next Thursday would have been Graham Rees's 85th Birthday, had he not flown off this mortal coil in June. His decision was not to have a funeral. This was pretty typical of him but it did deny his Family as well as us, his friends and aquaintences a chance to say goodby and mark his passing.
As such we will be holding a memorial all day sea-watch at the Strumble look-out on the Sunday following his birthday, September 12th.
The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park have kindly funded a new information panel to be displayed at the look-out, describing some of the buildings history and Grahams part, along with that of Jack Donovan, in securing its future for those of us for which the building is a very special place.
We hope to reveal the new panel at two o clock (14.00) on Sunday afternoon followed by a minutes silence in which I wouldn't be surprised if a strange bird flys by!
All welcome! allthingsgood,cliff
