 Lochvane and Strumble Friday

A small flock of Golden Plover below Strumble, and a lonely Swallow skimming a pool above Aberbach. Huge numbers of Starling around Mathry, fluttering above hedge height and crowding on wires. Back home in Lochvane the usual autumn collection, Mistle Thrushes, Long Tailed Tit and a couple of Goldcrest in the garden. Groups of 50+ Linnet moved around noisily and a female Peregrine and male Sparrowhawk sped across the hedgerows.
