Sprinkle Pill

 From Toby Middlemist- Cracking visit to Sprinkle Pill this morning, with another three Species added to my Pembs list, a Yellow-legged Gull, 2 female Pochard and a female Pintail, all on the shore north of Fowlborough Point. It was a real challenge to count everything! A Great White Egret also flew out of the Pill. No sign of Pink-feet.


Also 154 Canada Goose, 70 Wigeon, 202 Teal, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 45 Lapwing, c500 Golden Plover giving a spectacular show in the sky, 9 Ringed Plover, 79 Curlew, a Bar-tailed Godwit, 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 45 Redshank, 9 Greenshank, 13 Little Egret, 5 Jay, 21 Skylark overhead, 55 Redwing, 4 Grey Wagtail, and 26 Meadow Pipit over.
 
My Dad flushed a group of 6 Red Kite in Letterston this morning, while one was over Haverfordwest. On the walk down, I counted 180 Redwing!
