A late Wheatear at the Gann this morning may prove to be our last of the year. Lisa had a 1CY Whooper Swan on its own in the bay towards Musselwick early morning, but it had moved on by late morning. The Hooded Crow was seen by others this morning.
Mid afternoon the Cattle Egret was still in the field between Lower Mullock and Orlandon, by the bend in the road. As Rosemary mentions, the egrets (I counted 11 Little) were using the hedges as shelter. Sensible, it was wild out there!
