Highlight of a look around the Teifi Estuary this morning was a light-bellied Brent Goose. Not a common species for the Teifi and the first I have seen there this year.
It was on the edge of the main Webley sand bank as the tide dropped. Also, there were 6 Bar-tailed Godwit, 55 Curlew, 1 Mediterranean Gull with 120 Black-headed Gulls and 5 Ringed Plover.
During a quick scope out to the bay, an Arctic Skua and 3 Common Scoter passed with many Gannets and Auks.
