A nice day out checking sites around the Amroth area. First Amroth sea front, 4 Eider (1 male and 3 females) the best offshore. Also 5 Red-breasted Mergansers, c20 Red-throated Divers, 4 Great Created Grebes and about 100+ Common Scoter. From Telpyn a Brambling flew west and a Brent Goose flew offshore towards Amroth viewed distantly from Telpyn Point.
At Coppet Hall in the afternoon a smart Black-throated Diver offshore was a pleasant surprise. Plus 5 Red-throated Divers and 50+ Common Scoter. 8 Turnstone were on the rocks between Coppet Hall and Wiseman's Bridge and a Black Redstart around the car park.
