Egyptian Goose

Quite a surprise to stumble across an Egyptian Goose at Pembroke Mill Pond today (on the drained part next to the castle).  According to the Pembrokeshire Avifauna it is something like the 7th Pembrokeshire record!  Who knows from where it came, but it was unringed and appeared to be fully winged so presumably from the UK feral population.  Not one to get the heart pumping though....

The Cattle Egret was still at Lower Mullock at dusk.
