Greylags over Carew

Every morning, currently between 0745-0800, small parties of greylags fly over on a south-easterly track roughly from the Carew River towards Tenby. Two days ago I counted 16 and about 4 stragglers (I hear them first, can't see them all because of the trees), yesterday 32 in a long skein flying high. Just now I saw or heard at least 3 separate groups on quite a broad front. I hear them returning at dusk, when it's almost too dark to see them.

Where do they spend the day? It would be interesting to hear if anyone notices feeding greylags anywhere along or south of the Ridgeway.
