Iceland Gull - Teifi

A 1st winter Iceland Gull was just off the Webley sandbank, Teifi Estuary at 1pm today. Worth a quick look during the Pembs Bird Conference lunch break!

Many gulls were feeding very actively in the bay and around the estuary so presumably a lot of fish / crustaceans washed in after the storm.

15 Ringed Plover. 16 Dunlin and a Sanderling on the sandbank.

Redshank numbers are increasing, 36 from St Dogmaels quay.
